English version haha lolzzzzzzz
Yesterday was the very first time we went trick-or-treating out around the neighbor, other than the mall. For sure Americans are very kind to their guests and very understanding when interacting with the children. Americans also have a natural talent in the way they decorate their houses and yards for different holidays. Especially Halloween, everything looked incredible! Some scary but, not so scary; it was a phenomenon! Two hours of walking and we still didn't complete the entire neighborhood of a small block in such a small town. We got the good candies such as chocolate Snicker, Twix and Musketeers, which made the basket fill up very fast! Our feet were tired from so much walking but we were still going and do you know why? It wasn’t that we wanted to get more candy. We were just so excited about seeing the homeowners' decorations and how they were dressed up; pretending and acting like a horror movie. There were yards covered with white spider webs, graves, and fake human bodies scattered on the ground. Ghosts and a boggy man were sneaking out from behind the bushes. Creepy voices and sounds came out from the graves. The people in this town were very creative with their mini haunted house decorations. There were devils and ugly monsters leading guests into the mini haunted house. Inside the haunted house there were three witches and devils moving slowly as they gave the kids candy. Another ugly devil showed guests the way out. On both side of the path there were skulls, a table that had skeletons, blood, cut arms, a cut foot, and eyeballs. The guests walked through as they watched the display pretending it was horrifying. I'm sure we made the homeowners happy knowing they were very successful displaying their creativity. House after house, each one of them decorated so well and in a distinctive spiritual way. Of course all of them were fake, it was just like a scene out of a horror movie. The night was clear and nice, not hot at all but we still sweated from walking. Once in awhile there were kids voices screaming. The chain saw turned on and off. We didn't know what was going on until we approached the street were all the commotion was happening. A group of young teenagers were taking picture, while they posed, the man stood behind them turn on the machine saw, made everyone of them jump up and freak out. The man scared the kids a bit then left as he walked away stomping heavily down the streets again. Not far away from him, there was another man that looked like a killer in a scary movie with a shovel in his hand. He dragged it against the street so it made a terrible sound. When it got darker, more people on the streets, kids and parents walked back and forth, a few zombies slowly walked around them but no kid were being scared. Everything turned out perfectly, the decoration, the make up, the actress, and the actors. Each and every one of them made the Halloween night scene incredible! We loved it! Thank God, thank American tradition and thanks to all the people that care and love the children so much to put together memorable holidays, caring moments, especially a Happy Halloween wonderful night for the kids!
